Brief Description
The turkey trot was run in downtown Baltimore! There was no need to traipse all the way to the county for some Turkey Day fun prior to heading off to celebrate with friends and family.
Course
The gobble cobble course is aptly named. The course started just outside of the MAC Harbor East, runners ran down Lancaster Street into Fells Point, then toured the Fells Point waterfront on the old cobble stone roads filled with trolley tracks, missing cobblestones, and sunken portions of roadway. Runners had to watch their step, and luckily no one ended up gobbling on some cobbling before dinner! After that the course wound up on the Pratt Street trolley path and Inner Harbor Promenade.
Additional Information
The 7K course started in Harbor East, headed over to Fells Point, returned, then headed around the promenade and back. We hope you’ll join us for the Third Annual Event in 2012!
Next Year’s Registration
Online Registration is currently closed. This past year, registration was $25 at the Falls Road Running Store prior to Wednesday and it raised to $30 at MAC Harbor East during packet pickup on race day morning. Next year may sell out, as we have a special promotion going for loyal customer’s beginning in 2012 – Stay tuned for a message from Jim regarding the new Falls Road Running Store loyalty program launching in the New Year!
